“American Beasts” is an in-development feature film written and directed by Stephen Judge, set against the stark beauty of California’s Mojave Desert. At its centre is a troubled young woman who is drawn into the ruthless, clandestine world of underground fighting – a world driven by power, money and manipulation.
Visceral, intimate and character-driven, American Beasts is a story about family, identity, belonging and the fight to break free from the things we inherit.
The feature grew out of a proof-of-concept short film, written, produced and directed by Stephen.
