A short film I produced and directed in California. Shot by DOP Adam Evans, written by Tim May and Karen Stowe. Set in the present day on the edge of California’s Mojave desert, ‘Bare Knuckle Girl’ is the compelling story of an emotionally damaged young woman with a terrible secret who gets drawn into the brutal world of underground bare knuckle boxing. Here she meets other desperate characters battling for survival on the fringes of society while she fights an inner darkness that threatens to consume her.
